From 6dbc94651201154ceb88c1b54653bf6e8ca77518 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Will Pfleger Date: Wed, 5 Aug 2026 09:51:15 -0400 Subject: [PATCH] fix(desktop): make missing-command error actionable for released builds (#4802) MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit User-facing error for missing ACP harness commands has been pointing released-build users to run `cargo build --release --workspace` and read TESTING.md — both dead ends for anyone not building from source. Updated message acknowledges that antivirus software can quarantine bundled binaries and provides practical remediation steps. Preserves pointer to TESTING.md for source builds. Fixes issue context from #4491.
