feat(mobile): account onboarding, key recovery and hosted reconnect (#8375)
## Behavior Adds optional mobile Builderlab sign-in, identity backup/recovery, community discovery/creation, and account-aware reconnect. **Builderlab features are disabled by default:** when `BUZZ_AUTH_DOMAINS` is unset or empty, account login, creation, backup/recovery, reconnect prompts, and background account restoration are hidden/disabled. QR/code pairing, links, and invites retain Nostr-only entry. Saved account state is retained for later opt-in. `--dart-define=BUZZ_AUTH_DOMAINS=communities.buzz.xyz,communities.public.builderlabstaging.xyz` opts those DNS domains and their subdomains into required account setup. The same policy gates pairing, deep links, durable community admission, and reconnect. A nonempty list enables Builderlab features; `BUZZ_BUILDERLAB_URL` alone does not. Enabled flows still require their backend services. Existing Nostr relay authentication remains mandatory. `BUZZ_HOSTED_RELAY_AUTH=true` enables scoped relay assertions and reconnect prompts only for configured authentication domains. Configure assertion issuance and each community's issuer binding before enabling assertions; enable relay enforcement last. Account credentials stay at Builderlab. Wrong-account recovery preserves keys; failed writes are not replayed; authentication is bounded by request deadlines. Hosted flows preserve keys across cancellation/restart, reconcile interrupted creation/invitation acceptance, and support manual nsec file import/export. Account identities are scoped to backend and authenticated subject; reusing an existing local key for an unbound account requires an explicit selection. Recovery reconciles the advertised and recovered inventories before automatic selection. Successful self-hosted admission retires its pending key, and iOS startup removes interrupted export files. Adds authenticated relay `GET /operator/communities/joined` for the companion Builderlab membership endpoint. ## Validation - Follow-up review repair at `66a12ac92`: self-hosted entry presents readable choices and import despite incomplete enumeration, while generation still requires a complete empty inventory; explicit selection uses exact-key lookup. Consuming a value-equal duplicate now advances dispatch. Reconnect requires an existing account binding or a subject-scoped backup receipt before signing an assertion, and pins the subject inside the serialized account request. An empty different account is refused without sending key proof. Focused checks: configured domains 58 passed; default 49 passed, 9 hosted-only skips. Separate isolated mutations fail the incomplete-inventory sheet, exact-key reuse, duplicate dispatch and reconnect journeys (including an empty-account-only bypass); restored controls pass. Evidence uses synthetic storage/network boundaries, not physical Android or live backend association. All mandatory commit/push hooks passed; fresh GitHub CI is pending. - Bounded review repair at `d3cc0003f`: incomplete secure-storage enumeration now blocks automatic identity generation while explicit known-key reads retain their fallback; declined/failed onboarding links release the queue; HTTP 429/5xx keeps Retry regardless of response encoding. Default app-gate coverage exercises a bind link followed by ordinary community entry. Focused checks: configured domains 47 passed; default 38 passed, 9 hosted-only skips. Removing the three production fixes in an isolated source/Git/build copy fails the identity-resolution, declined/failed queue, and Retry journey assertions; clean and restored controls pass. Storage and HTTP failures are synthetic; physical Android and live outage behavior were not exercised. Published after all mandatory commit/push hooks passed (mobile analysis/tests, branch-skew and file-size gates); fresh GitHub CI remains pending. - Existing whole-PR source review cleared the reconnect defects at `fb15d5b82`. - Domain-policy increment: focused environment, entry, app-gate, pairing and onboarding journeys pass with empty and configured domains. Existing pairing provider/page tests pass. Changed Dart files analyze cleanly. - Isolated source/Git/build mutation: forcing paired credentials through hosted login fails the default-build journey; clean and restored controls pass. CI now runs configured-domain journeys in addition to the default-build suite. - Integrated main through `5b433d929` at `0067c069c`, including its pinned Flutter upgrade. Preserved the PR welcome UI with the updated transition API and added Material surfaces around onboarding selection/consent rows. Focused post-merge runs pass in both configurations; all mandatory local push gates passed (mobile analysis/tests, Rust tests, desktop-native checks, branch-skew and file-size checks). - Merge-review repair at `a315bce11`: focused identity/storage/admission and widget journeys pass, including account switching with an empty or already-bound second account, explicit reuse, and self-hosted removal/rejoin with another key. Default-domain journeys pass too (hosted-only cases intentionally skip there). - Isolated source/Git/build mutation checks: bypassing account scoping, reuse consent, pending-key retirement, or recovery inventory reconciliation fails the relevant journey/invariant assertions; clean and restored controls pass. - Native `RunnerTests/IdentityFilePluginTests`: both tests pass on the iPhone 18 Pro iOS 27 simulator with an isolated app identifier. At `24a0dcaac`, the picker journey seeds residue in Library/Caches, matching path_provider_foundation, and verifies plugin startup removes it while preserving an unrelated file. The earlier tmp-only fixture did not exercise the actual export location. This is synthetic native cleanup/picker evidence, not a real terminated-share or live account round trip. - Follow-up: Caches and tmp cleanup; fallback to individually known identity slots when Android bulk enumeration fails; explicit replacement of a refused self-hosted key preserves its original before swapping the retry slot. Configured-domain journeys/invariants: 34 passed; default: 31 passed, 3 hosted-only skips. Isolated enumeration/retry mutations fail with passing controls. Bulk-read fallback preserves but cannot enumerate arbitrary other-account slots until bulk reads recover. - Configured-domain CI exposed a stale pairing-status assertion after account scoping. The repaired test checks the admission mismatch, preserved account/transfer keys, and no admitted community. The configured-domain CI selection passes locally (56 tests); removing the production mismatch guard fails the updated test, with clean/restored controls passing. This is synthetic coordinator evidence, not physical QR acceptance. - Final review repair (`40e1e6101`): native iOS export creation uses atomic complete file protection; normal and restart cleanup remain. Account/policy/claim HTTP uses one 30-second total deadline with request abort and body cancellation. Removed the unrelated NIP-FA spec edit. - Focused account/admission/export tests: 25 pass; configured-domain account/admission/onboarding journeys: 33 pass. Isolated deadline and native-dispatch mutations fail, with passing clean/restored controls. Native export/picker tests: 2 pass on iOS 27 simulator. The real file-protection attribute assertion is physical-device-only because simulator provides no Data Protection attribute; locked-device protection and interrupted real sharing have not been observed. - Opt-in UI: configured-domain CI selection passes (57 tests); default selection passes (7 tests, 10 hosted-only skips); URL-only plus whitespace/empty domains passes (6 tests, 9 hosted-only skips). Changed Dart files analyze cleanly. Independent mutations that unconditionally initialize the coordinator in the app gate, welcome entry, or link form fail the default journey; clean/restored controls pass. - Native welcome screens exercised on iPhone 18 Pro / iOS 27 simulator in default and configured builds: default exposes community link / QR / pairing code only; configured build additionally exposes Builderlab connection and community creation. No live hosted login was exercised in this check. - Delivery at `e48fe73a9`: all mandatory push hooks passed (full mobile analysis/tests, Rust tests, desktop-native checks, branch and file-size checks). GitHub checks had not yet populated at the immediate post-push snapshot. ## Review disposition | Feedback | Disposition | | --- | --- | | Explicit self-hosted entry under unreadable inventory, duplicate invite dispatch, reconnect cross-account binding ([entry](https://github.com/block/buzz/pull/8375#discussion_r4318421622), [queue](https://github.com/block/buzz/pull/8375#discussion_r4318421640), [reconnect](https://github.com/block/buzz/pull/8375#discussion_r4318455512)) | Repaired at `66a12ac92`; evidence above. Reconnect refuses unproven ownership rather than silently establishing a binding. | | Incomplete Android identity inventory, stranded deep-link queue, transient HTTP retry classification ([review](https://github.com/block/buzz/pull/8375#pullrequestreview-5576864143)) | All three repaired in `d3cc0003f`; focused journeys and isolated mutation evidence above. | | Account cross-link, incomplete recovery inventory, committed invite checkpoint, pending local key retirement/replacement | Repaired in the preceding commits; journey and mutation evidence above. | | iOS interrupted key export ([review](https://github.com/block/buzz/pull/8375#pullrequestreview-5575253252)) | Native cleanup plus complete protection at creation implemented. Physical-device lock and real interrupted sharing acceptance remains pending. | | Trickle responses bypass idle timeout; unrelated NIP-FA edit ([review](https://github.com/block/buzz/pull/8375#pullrequestreview-5575764556)) | Total request deadline/abort implemented; spec edit removed. | | Production domains rejected | Ordinary entry now needs no Builderlab configuration. Opt-in account-required domains must still use supported community mappings. | | Lost Android Keystore recovery | Backup exclusions prevent the reviewed stale-restore scenario; genuine key loss still has no in-app recovery/reset and remains deferred. | | Native secp256k1 dependency question | Obsolete against the current base: upstream C integration landed in #8398; no package diff remains here. | | Operator membership endpoint contract | Documentation now states the operator chooses the pubkey; no end-user session binding is implied. Additional handler-level coverage is optional follow-up. | | Optional Android partial document cleanup/activity retention; local work after backup cancellation | Follow-up hardening, not claimed implemented. Cancellation prevents remote backup upload. | | Semgrep crypto inventory notices | Informational inventory, not demonstrated defects. | ## Remaining draft gates Native QR/browser-return acceptance remains unverified for this revision. Optional Builderlab onboarding still needs backend backup-status and joined-community routes, recovery policy/configuration, and real backup/recovery/reconnect acceptance. The empty-domain build removes these services as prerequisites for ordinary pairing; it does not make the optional hosted flows backend-ready. Human acceptance and current CI are still required before merge. Review dispositions retained: production auth-domain configuration must use supported community mappings; enabling `builderlab.xyz` does not add support for `buzz.block.builderlab.xyz`. Recovery after genuinely losing an Android Keystore key remains a follow-up, not a newly implemented capability. Human acceptance steps: build once without `BUZZ_AUTH_DOMAINS` (including with a previously saved account) and confirm no Builderlab controls/restoration while ordinary link and QR/code entry work. Build with supported domains and confirm connection/creation appear; exercise browser return and live backup/recovery/reconnect. On physical iOS, exercise export and interrupted sharing/locked-device protection. Record results before marking review complete. --------- Signed-off-by: Wes <wesbillman@users.noreply.github.com> Co-authored-by: Brain <1a02c72794dcd0f07058a353bc3a81f4028b8c77c92c87fce6d5c8b85970a20b@buzz.block.builderlab.xyz> Co-authored-by: Brain <1a02c72794dcd0f07058a353bc3a81f4028b8c77c92c87fce6d5c8b85970a20b@wes.communities.public.builderlabstaging.xyz> |

Bring synced Solo chats and projects to mobile (#8337)
## Summary Bring desktop Solo chats and project organization to mobile, with synced collapsible sections, shared unread highlights and tab badges, agent selection, shared search, native iOS creation sheets, and inline typing bubbles that transition into replies. Resolve Solo placement for every chat entry route, retain encrypted organization snapshots for offline reading, and let users resume or discard unfinished chat and project setup without deleting existing messages. ### Related issue Related: #6565; expandable agent transcripts remain separate work. ### Testing - Fresh Solo read state seeds each active chat from its captured initial last-message timestamp before exposing row/section/tab unread state. Baselines survive intervening channel updates and reset across identity/community boundaries while surviving read-state readiness changes. Regressions cover multiple chats, events before read-state readiness and during/after seeding, and identity changes; removing either the seed or the display gate fails them. - Chat completion reconciles a retained Solo-save journal even when placement is already confirmed. False/throwing cleanup regressions ensure the outer intent remains until reconciliation and only one placement is published. Typing terminal-close loops remain bounded; the retry budget resets after an uninterrupted eight-second health interval or transport reconnect. - Typing retry budgets reset after sustained recovery; invalid Solo updates retain cached rows with a retry warning that survives failed refreshes. Project names use the editors’ 120-grapheme limit, including emoji and combining characters. Regression coverage exercises repeated recovery, invalid live/refresh heads, and character-limit boundaries. - Rebased onto current main, preserving the newer Search controls, Huddle timeline filtering, and message-media layout. - Failed project journal writes reload storage before claiming recovery and reopen the entered name for retry. Typing subscription rejections are caught; terminal closures clear stale indicators and retry with a bounded backoff, canceled on disposal. Regression tests cover both false/throwing storage writes and initial/late subscription rejection. - Explicit ordinary destinations skip optional Solo lookup waits. Generic destinations perform one bounded lookup in the destination (search no longer duplicates it); an unavailable classification falls back to ordinary sending per the product owner's explicit choice. Positively identified Solo destinations use Solo providers. - Terminal Solo subscription closure preserves cached rows and exposes live-update Retry. Page coverage verifies warning visibility, usable rows during recovery, and a subsequent terminal close. Removing the warning or the immediate ordinary-route guard fails its regression. - Generic channel entries share an ordinary default when Solo classification is unavailable, per the requested product behavior. Known Solo placement takes precedence; callers can explicitly require unresolved placement to remain blocked. Bounded initial lookup preserves known Solo deep-link routing. - Dirty newest snapshots and offline-save warnings survive transport reconnects; Retry persists that same event even if the relay returns an older head. Community changes replace the service, and agent-directory reconnect refresh remains intact. - Pending-save discard reloads failed removals. Repeated reconnect testing confirms typing subscriptions are released on provider rebuild and disposal; removing the existing cleanup fails the regression. - Ordinary Home/create routes explicitly preserve private-channel sending during Solo failures; identified Solo sends use the Solo sender and explicit unresolved routes remain fail-closed. Solo unread replies beyond the initial 200-event page are loaded through the oldest-unread boundary. - Chat/project/agent cleanup reloads failed removals, retains same-process recovery, and protects replaced records. False/throw regressions verify retries do not duplicate creation or membership. Route, unread, and cleanup guard-removal mutations each fail their regression. - Ordinary channels, DMs, and forums remain sendable when optional Solo sync fails; explicit unresolved placement stays blocked. Controlled cache races retain the newest verified snapshot, keep usable chats visible, and retry offline persistence without stale writes. Both protection-removal regressions fail as expected. - Confirmed journal cleanup checks false/throwing removal and exact-record identity. Interrupted agent choices are visible immediately, identify the saved agent, and cover Resume/Later/Discard with accessible name/key-fallback controls. - Notification deep links preserve the contiguous history cursor; same-second messages infer the newest agent consistently. Failed offline-cache writes surface Retry, with false/throwing storage failures and offline restart covered. - Composite history cursors cover 350 same-second events plus older history; removing the ID cursor makes the regression fail. Agent changes now journal before granting access, with restart/failure and Resume/Later/Discard widget coverage. Signed malformed profiles remain isolated. - Native iOS avatar tests passed on the simulator: visible-row loading, three-request concurrency, streamed byte limits, response validation, downsampling/pixel limits, cancellation, and visible avatar updates. - Solo and Home share observed-event/read-marker logic. Widget coverage verifies unread rows, collapsed-section indicators, the tab badge before first Solo visit, message/thread reads, forced unread, and filtering archived/nonmember/unplaced chats. - Chat intent is saved before ownership and organization preflight; tests cover interrupted ownership lookup and a disconnect while the native creation form is open. - Mobile analysis, formatting, file-size checks, and full mobile tests passed at `1d4c41354`. - Project creation persists its encrypted name/UUID before connectivity checks or relay reads. Restart tests cover Resume/Later/Discard, scope isolation, stale-intent rejection, and lost acknowledgements. Removing the pre-network save makes all four production-flow regressions fail. - Regression coverage includes notification/Activity routing, inline replies, unknown-placement send protection, restart recovery/discard, and encrypted offline cache isolation/refresh. - Earlier feature build exercised on a physical iPhone with existing account/community data; review follow-ups have not been reinstalled on the device. UIKit agent-row accessibility checks passed on an iOS simulator. - Earlier cross-platform `just ci` stopped on the existing `buzz-acp` test `signals_cancel_startup_turn_and_pending_stdin_without_hanging` (process exit-code assertion); no Rust production changes are included in this PR. ### Remaining review limitation Agent discovery is bounded to 10 pages / 1,000 profiles with automatic retries disabled. Owner-scoped discovery remains open because the current relay ignores `#auth` filters; supporting that query requires a relay change. ### Snapshots Sample data, shared Flutter/Android surface. Preview Tabler icons in the mobile app (#8109)
## Summary Preview buzz-app's Tabler icon style in the mobile app, replacing app-drawn Lucide glyphs across channels, messages, activity, search, and settings. A shared `BuzzIcons` mapping uses the bundled Tabler 3.46.0 outline font, matching buzz-app's version, with its MIT license and source documented. Native UIKit controls retain SF Symbols. The former 300/500 navigation glyphs use Tabler's standard outline; existing selection colors and labels remain. ### Related issue No matching Tabler mobile migration issue or PR found. Related native iOS controls: #8055. ### Testing - Pre-push mobile analysis, formatting, file-size checks, and the full mobile test suite passed. - 194 focused widget tests passed, including channels, home, search, settings, and message content. - Light and dark community-settings renders inspected. - Signed iPhone Release build succeeded; installed and launched as Buzz Tabler on a physical iPhone. - Full `just ci` attempted; stopped during Rust clippy compilation because the Mac ran low on disk space. Full repository validation is not claimed. Signed-off-by: kenny lopez <klopez4212@gmail.com> |

feat(nip-fi): harden Blossom kind-24242 verifier to NIP-FI spec (#7288)
Brings `buzz-media`, `buzz-relay`, all first-party kind-24242 minters, and desktop token minting into compliance with [NIP-FI §kind-24242](https://github.com/block/buzz/blob/main/docs/nips/NIP-FI.md). ## What changed **`buzz-media/src/auth.rs`** - Add `BlossomStrictness` enum (`Strict` | `Permissive`). `Strict` applies full NIP-FI rules (active modes); `Permissive` preserves pre-NIP-FI Off-mode behavior byte-identical [FI-INV-15]. - Rewrite `verify_blossom_auth_event_for_verb` with count-based cardinality: exactly one `t`/`expiration`/`server` in `Strict`; duplicate `x` also rejected. `Permissive` keeps main's boolean semantics exactly: any valued `t` other than the verb (including `""`) rejects, valueless `t` is ignored. - `Strict`: mandatory `server` tag on all proofs (upload + read); absent or mismatched → `evidence_rejected` (`ServerMismatch`). - `Strict`: 60-second proof window (`now - created_at <= 60s`, `expiration <= created_at + 60s`). `Permissive`: 3600s / optional server. - **[F1]** Permissive server validation uses any-match semantics: a proof with multiple `server` tags is accepted if any tag matches the bound host. This restores origin/main base behavior. Strict duplicate-rejection unchanged. - **[F1 compat]** Permissive server gate uses `server_values.is_empty()` (valued tags only) rather than `server_count > 0` (includes valueless tags). A lone valueless `["server"]` tag is treated as absent in Permissive/Off mode, matching pre-NIP-FI base behavior [FI-INV-15]. - **[F4]** Valueless `x` tags in Strict get reads are tracked before `filter_map` so they cannot become absent scope (host-wide authorization). Any `x` tag present in Strict must contain the exact requested sha256. - **[F3 unit]** Cases A–D in `auth.rs` are helper-level unit tests: they call `verify_blossom_upload_auth` and `verify_upload_hash_only` directly. They do not enter the upload pipeline (`process_upload`/`process_video_upload`). Retained as helper evidence. **`buzz-media/src/error.rs`** - Add `DuplicateTag(&'static str)` variant. - Add `blossom_denial_kind()` method: classifies each auth error as `MissingEvidence`, `EvidenceRejected`, or `AuthorizationDenied`. Non-auth errors return `None`. - `IntoResponse` retains the legacy JSON 401 shape [FI-INV-15]. **`buzz-relay/src/api/media.rs`** - Add `MediaDenial(MediaError, BlossomStrictness)` wrapper mapping to byte-exact NIP-FI fixed responses in `Strict`; falls through to legacy JSON in `Permissive`. - `blossom_strictness_from_state()` selects `Strict` when `state.config.nip_fi.is_enforce()`, otherwise `Permissive`. Strictness is threaded through the `admit_nip_fi_http_on_state` NIP-98 closures on upload and read, and through the post-admission X-SHA-256, hash-binding, and membership denials. - `extract_blossom_auth` keeps first-value `Authorization` extraction; Enforce rejects repeated fields at the `admit_nip_fi_http` cardinality gate, and Off keeps legacy behavior [FI-INV-15]. - Both membership-denial call sites use `media_denial(RelayMembershipRequired, strictness)` so Strict mode produces the correct fixed-text response. - `upload_blob` serving-write fence conversion (`:406`) uses `map_err(|e| media_denial(e, strictness))` — a community fence committed between auth admission and lease acquisition no longer resets Strict to Permissive. - Mode-driven regressions in `mod postgres_tests` (selected by the nextest `postgres-ci` profile via `test(/postgres_tests::/)`, `#[ignore = "requires Postgres"]`), run through the full relay router with a real Enforce verifier and assertion: Enforce rejects Permissive-only proofs (300s lifetime, missing `server` tag) on both upload routes and reads with `evidence rejected`; Off accepts the same proofs with pre-NIP-FI responses; DenyProtected answers 503 before any proof check; membership denials are `authorization denied` text/plain in Enforce and exact legacy JSON 403 in Off, with a member positive control. GET and HEAD are each discriminated (HEAD with a suppressed body). Both upload routes pin the handler's `X-SHA-256` missing/malformed/unsigned and post-body hash-mismatch denials in both modes. Off rejects an empty-valued `t` beside a valid one with legacy 401 JSON in either order, and ignores a valueless one. Exact status, Content-Type, challenge, and body bytes are pinned. **`buzz-media/src/upload.rs`** (`mod minio_tests`) - **[F3 pipeline]** Four tests exercising the actual post-body call sites (`process_upload` `:85`, `process_video_upload` `:413`) with real MinIO I/O: buffered/streaming × expired-proof-accept + mismatched-hash-reject. The positive cases use `fresh_strict_upload_auth` (`created_at = now-58`, `expiration = now+2`, lifetime = 60s) — Strict-admissible at sign time — followed by a real 3s sleep so the proof is expired when the upload completes. `nostr::Timestamp::now()` reads the OS wall clock directly; paused Tokio time does not advance it. The negative cases use a pre-expired proof with a mismatched `x` tag. All four are `#[ignore = "requires MinIO"]`; no CI lane runs them automatically. **`buzz-media/src/validation.rs`** - `minimal_valid_mp4()` promoted to `#[cfg(test)] pub(crate)` — a 618-byte pre-computed H.264/avc1 fast-start MP4 available to all `buzz-media` test modules; smoke-tested by `test_minimal_valid_mp4_passes_validate_video_file`. **`desktop/src-tauri/src/commands/media.rs`** - `sign_blossom_upload_auth`: `server` tag mandatory; upload expiry 60s (was 3600s/300s). - `MEDIA_GET_AUTH_EXPIRY_SECS`: 60s (was 600s). **`desktop/src-tauri/src/media_proxy.rs`** - Single re-mint+retry on 401/403 for range requests; non-auth failures do not retry. **`crates/buzz-cli/src/client.rs`** - Read expiry: 60s (was 600s). Upload expiry: 60s. `server` tag mandatory on upload. **`crates/buzz-dev-mcp/src/view_image.rs`** - `MEDIA_GET_AUTH_EXPIRY_SECS`: 60s (was 600s). Test updated. **`mobile/lib/shared/relay/media_auth.dart`** - `_mediaGetAuthLifetimeSeconds`: 60 (was 600). Refresh margin updated. **`mobile/lib/shared/relay/media_upload.dart`** - `_uploadAuthLifetimeSeconds`: 60 (was 300). `server` tag mandatory. **`mobile/lib/features/channels/media_viewer_page/video_viewer.dart`** - **[F2]** Remove Android-specific `VideoPlayerController.networkUrl` streaming path. `video_player_android` 2.9.5 freezes headers into static `DefaultHttpDataSource` request properties — a 60s proof minted at controller creation time becomes stale on seeks. All platforms use the authenticated local-file download path. - **[F2 transport]** `unawaited(request.sink.close())` before `client.send()`. `AbortableStreamedRequest` carries no request body; without closing the sink, `IOClient.send()` awaits `stream.pipe(ioRequest)` which blocks until the sink ends — every video download hung in loading indefinitely on every platform. - **[F2 pending-ctrl]** `pendingController` ref set before the first `await (initialize())`, cleared in all exit paths. Effect cleanup disposes `pendingController.value` so a close-during-init releases the native player even if the initialized event never arrives. - **[F2r(a)]** On native init failure (post-create, pre-initialized-event), the inner catch starts disposal detached via `unawaited(localController.dispose().catchError(...))` — the `.catchError` handler absorbs any disposal exception so it does not reach the test error zone — then rethrows the original load error. `video_player` 2.11.1 completes the init future with an error without disposing the native player. - **[F2r(b)]** Non-2xx error body cancelled via `_cancelVideoResponse()` (subscribe+cancel) instead of `drain()`. `drain()` waits for the upstream to close; a stalled server body blocked `initializeVideo` indefinitely. - **[F2r(d)]** `unawaited(localController.dispose().catchError(...))` in the catch — not `await`. Two failure mechanisms exist: (1) when `createWithOptions()` throws, `_creatingCompleter` is never completed and `await dispose()` deadlocks at `:682-683`, blocking the outer catch from setting error state. (2) when `createWithOptions()` succeeds but initialization fails, `dispose()` runs but its thrown exception becomes an unhandled async error reaching the test zone. Both are fixed: `unawaited` lets the outer catch run immediately and set `error.value`; `.catchError(...)` on the detached disposal future absorbs any disposal exception. **`mobile/test/features/channels/media_viewer_page/video_viewer_test.dart`** - `_FinalizingFakeClient`: calls `request.finalize().drain()` — a test without the sink fix times out because the drain never completes, validating the transport contract. - F2r(a): `forceInitError=true` fake emits `PlatformException` on subscribe; `disposeCallCount >= 1` verifies disposal even on init failure. - F2r(b): `stalledBody` `StreamController` with `onCancel` Completer (bounded completion signal, not a sleep). Asserts: (1) `bodyStreamCancelled=true` while body stream is still open (impossible with `drain()`); (2) error UI visible while body remains open. Restoring `drain()` breaks both. - F2r(c): `neverInitialize=true` fake never sends initialized event; unmount asserts `disposeCallCount >= 1` via `pendingController`. Distinct from the event-error case. - F2r(d): `forceCreateError=true` fake throws `PlatformException` from `createWithOptions()` itself (before any player ID is returned). Asserts error UI visible within a bounded deadline. With the old `await dispose()` the outer catch is blocked — `error.value` is never set and the error UI assertion fails at the deadline; with `unawaited(dispose())` the error text appears immediately. **`mobile/test/features/channels/media_viewer_page/video_viewer_transport_test.dart`** (separate file) - Real-IO loopback probes using `flutter_test` (not `package:test`) to avoid `depend_on_referenced_packages` lint. No `TestWidgetsFlutterBinding` — no HttpClient override interfering with `dart:io`. - Probe 1: `HttpServer.bind(loopbackIPv4, 0)` reads the full request body before replying. Without `sink.close()`, `req.drain()` hangs and the test times out. - Probe 2: server signals request arrival via a Completer (not a sleep); abort fires after confirmed arrival; `client.send()` must throw `RequestAbortedException` (typed assertion) within a bounded 5s deadline. **`scripts/test-video-upload.sh`** - Proof minted with `+60` expiry and mandatory `server` tag. **`buzz-test-client/tests/e2e_media*.rs`** + **`buzz-relay/src/api/media.rs` test fixtures** - All fixtures updated to 55s expiry + `server` tag. **`RELEASING.md`** - New "NIP-FI upload proof freshness (relay floor)" section documenting that 60s proofs require the first relay release carrying this PR's post-body hash-only check (the first tag > `v0.2.1` — update once cut) for reliable large-file uploads. Operators on older self-hosted relays (≤ `v0.2.1`) must upgrade before receiving these clients. ## Finding 3: 60s upload proofs vs old-relay compatibility Desktop/CLI/mobile upload proofs are now 60s. Older relays re-run full expiry verification after the body is transferred. A valid upload whose body transfer takes >60s will fail on an old relay. **Resolution (relay floor prerequisite):** `RELEASING.md` requires that verified supported deployments (relay releases confirmed to carry the post-body hash-only check, commit `75e9bef748`) be in place before distributing 60s-proof client builds. Unknown or unverified self-hosted relay deployments are excluded from distribution until they upgrade. This makes the verified-deployment status a prerequisite for release distribution, not a post-distribution advisory. The concrete tag (`> v0.2.1`) is to be recorded once cut. ## Sequencing note Builds on #7264 (merged): Blossom strictness is derived from its `config.nip_fi` mode in this PR, so enabling `BUZZ_NIP_FI_MODE=enforce` activates the strict verifier with no further wiring. ## GIF compatibility exception An unauthenticated Off-mode request on a configured tenant with no GIF provider changes from 404 to 401 (base `gifs.rs:269-275` checked an unconfigured provider first; the current code authenticates first). All other Off-mode Blossom responses are byte-identical to pre-NIP-FI behavior. --------- Signed-off-by: Will Pfleger <pfleger.will@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Duncan <dcfd242e557282d7a1e2cf2e6877522682f1e5c6156dc92ca7d90eaedd3b0f95@buzz.block.builderlab.xyz> Co-authored-by: Duncan <dcfd242e557282d7a1e2cf2e6877522682f1e5c6156dc92ca7d90eaedd3b0f95@buzz.block.builderlab.xyz> |

Fix Apple Silicon iOS simulator builds (#7646)
Apple Silicon simulator builds fail because MLImage and MLKit contain device-labelled ARM64 objects. Enable the Flutter ML Kit package's upstream compatibility helper, which restores device labels for iPhone builds. This preserves the MLKit-based functionality (avatar background removal) and complements the notification-extension linker isolation in #7187. Adds a complete iOS simulator build to CI to catch this build regression. --------- Signed-off-by: Tom Brow <tomb@block.xyz> |

fix(mobile): style inline code with the app mono face (#6631)
## Summary Inline code on mobile renders as **bold body text on a faint background wash** — no monospace face, no chip, and it cannot wrap. #5257 diagnosed this as a missing `highlightBuilder`. That is no longer the right fix. `gpt_markdown` 1.2.0 deprecates `highlightBuilder` (removal in 2.0.0), renders inline code as a real chip, and adds `InlineCodeStyle` for restyling it. The package author confirmed this on the issue. So this PR is an upgrade — 1.1.6 → 1.2.1 — plus one theme declaration, rather than the builder the issue originally asked for. **Where the style is declared.** `GptMarkdownThemeData` goes in `AppTheme._buildTheme`, which both `light()` and `dark()` call. That reaches all four `GptMarkdown` call sites — `message_content`, `transcript_item_widget`, `token_pill`, `custom_emoji_render` — so the style is stated once instead of per widget. A widget-level `inlineCodeStyle` would have covered channel messages only, leaving the other three on the package's defaults. **What is declared.** Face, size, ink, chip fill and outline — not the face alone. A face name on its own leaves the rest on the package's defaults, which put inline code at 14.1sp beside a fenced block's 13, on a neutral `onSurface` tint rather than the app's code surface. In dark that tint is *lighter* than the surface, while every other code surface in the app is recessed, so the chip read as a different kind of object. All of it now comes from one `CodeStyle` declaration that the fenced block reads from too, so the two cannot be edited apart. **Three adaptations the upgrade requires.** Each was found by running the gate, not by reading the changelog: 1. **`imageBuilder` widened** to `(context, url, width, height)`. This is a hard compile error, and it is **not listed in the package's migration guide**, which states "nothing here stops code compiling". Worth reporting upstream. 2. **`autolink` now defaults to `true`.** `normalizeBareLinks()` already rewrites bare URLs into Markdown links before rendering, so both would run. `message_content` opts out with `autolink: false` to keep current behaviour exactly. The migration guide argues for dropping the pre-processor instead — a better fix, but a behavioural change that belongs in its own PR. 3. **`gpt_markdown.dart` now re-exports `markdown_config.dart`**, making two direct imports redundant. `flutter analyze` reports `No issues found!` on 1.1.6 and flags both on 1.2.1, so these warnings are new, not pre-existing. **Deliberately out of scope.** The three non-message call sites now autolink bare URLs, since only `message_content` has a pre-processor to collide with. Custom inline components (`_MentionMd`, `CustomEmojiMd`, `_ChannelLinkMd`) could additionally declare `allScopesExceptLinkLabel` — 1.2.0 offers it as the fix for a `WidgetSpan` chip going blank inside a link label on iOS — but current behaviour is unchanged without it, so that stays a separate change. ### Related issue Fixes #5257 Duplicate scan: searched `gpt_markdown`, `inline code mobile`, `highlightBuilder` and `InlineCodeStyle` across both PRs and issues. No open PR touches inline code styling. #6135 (link labels) and #6166 (text selection) also touch mobile Markdown but address different defects. ### Testing Full gate, `just ci` — exit 0: | Stage | Result | |---|---| | Rust (33 suites) | 4768 passed, 0 failed | | Desktop | 5799 passed, 0 failed | | Mobile | **2011 passed**, 0 failed | | `flutter analyze` | `No issues found!` | | Desktop + web build | ok | Run on the branch with `main` merged in, so these numbers match what CI builds. **New regression test** — `renders inline code in the app code style`. It resolves the `CodeTextSpan` the package tags inline code with, which carries both the resolved `TextStyle` and the colours the chip behind it is painted with, so face, size, ink, fill and outline are all asserted rather than a widget's presence. It is negative-controlled: reverting only the theme declaration fails it with ```text Expected: a numeric value within <0.001> of <13.0> Actual: <14.1> ``` and dropping the declaration entirely falls back to `packages/gpt_markdown/JetBrainsMono` — so the test measures the real thing, and it would catch a future regression that silently drops the theme extension. The test passes `baseStyle: messageBodyTextStyle`, the style the message surfaces actually use; the widget's own fallback is the smaller `bodyMedium`, which would move the expected size. The test finds paragraphs with `find.byWidgetPredicate((widget) => widget is RichText)`, not `find.byType(RichText)`: inline code renders through `BidiRichText`, a `RichText` subclass, and `byType` matches exact runtime types. That is a hazard for any test that reads text back out of a paragraph, and one landed after this branch was cut: `message_content_custom_emoji_test.dart` arrived with #6996 and its `code keeps literal emoji while adjacent known tokens render` case reads a code span through `find.byType(RichText)`. It passes on `main` and fails on the merge result, which is what CI builds, so it went red only once CI was authorized. It now uses the same predicate. The two other `byType(RichText)` call sites — the rest of that file and `message_author_meta_test.dart` — were re-run and pass: their content carries no code span, so the exact type still matches. They were left alone. ### Screenshots Rendered through the real `MessageContent` widget with the app's own fonts loaded, at 390pt wide, 3x DPR. Sample text: ``Set `BUZZ_RELAY_URL` before launch, then run `just mobile-test` to verify.`` | | Before (1.1.6) | After (1.2.1) | |---|---|---| | Light | | | | Dark | | | Before: bold Inter on a flat wash, no chip edge, and `just mobile-test` breaks across the line with the wash simply ending. After: Geist Mono in a bordered, rounded chip, and the wrapped fragment gets its own chip on each line. --------- Signed-off-by: Tolga Cinisli <tolgacinisli@gmail.com> Co-authored-by: Tolga Cinisli <tolgacinisli@gmail.com> |

Add mobile voice notes (#7121)
## Summary - add iOS and Android voice-note recording and preview directly in the mobile composer - add waveform playback, scrubbing, speed controls, haptics, and one-shot playback in chat - package recordings in a canonical H.264/AAC MP4 envelope on both platforms so existing relays accept them - preserve the shared composer interaction and attachment-card treatment across mobile platforms Mobile counterpart to #6978. ## Testing - `just ci` - `just mobile-check` - `just mobile-test` (2,026 tests) - Android debug build compiled, installed, launched, and Voice note verified in the attachment menu on Pixel 10 - signed iOS device build installed on iPhone --------- Signed-off-by: kenny lopez <klopez4212@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Princess Donut <b238ea756dee4d98afa5883fc7f1de61eeabe65bf700e3a5a5a80db5e42e2c2b@buzz.block.builderlab.xyz> Signed-off-by: Kenny Lopez <klopez4212@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Carl <3c4caeafb646d23867f1c4832e68211d77e2561946171625f75c3ce1a3f2670f@buzz.block.builderlab.xyz> Co-authored-by: Princess Donut <b238ea756dee4d98afa5883fc7f1de61eeabe65bf700e3a5a5a80db5e42e2c2b@buzz.block.builderlab.xyz> Co-authored-by: Carl <acda9e433d19dcd0e6b6840f7f4b98f3a56f1fab98049d444c087019e6d36560@buzz.block.builderlab.xyz> Co-authored-by: Carl <3c4caeafb646d23867f1c4832e68211d77e2561946171625f75c3ce1a3f2670f@buzz.block.builderlab.xyz> |

perf(mobile): reduce cold startup and channel rendering delays (#6996)
Pinky is opening this PR on Wes’s behalf. ## Summary Reduce two separately measured mobile delays without changing the relay API or removing rich message rendering: - Publish the finite channel-list snapshot without waiting for live subscription setup. - Batch active channel-list subscriptions into sorted, deterministic chunks of at most 128 explicit channel IDs, retaining unchanged chunks. - Install replacement chunks before retiring old coverage. Retain old chunks across thrown replacement failures; filter callbacks to the current relay/identity and still-desired channels; clean up retired/in-flight work across disconnect and disposal. - Scope the custom-emoji Markdown matcher to known shortcodes actually referenced in the rendered content, rather than embedding the whole community palette in every message’s regex. Preserve unknown literals, shared-colon token boundaries, event-tag URL priority, content edits, and code literals. - Honor explicit zero retry hints without inventing a ten-second session-wide gate, while preserving the ordinary live-subscription retry backoff and any already-active gate. ## Matched performance results Medians of three before and three after process-cold launches, alternated on the same authenticated iPhone 17 Pro / iOS 26.5 simulator. Before is mobile source at `e76c81968b65b0755b83efdd59dc3375c59ddf40`; after is this production patch before two documentation-only comment fixes. First channel-list frame: 11.617s → 3.179s · 73% lower latency Live setup duration: 8.475s → 0.185s · 98% lower latency Channel-open first message-list frame: 2.754s → 1.230s · 55% lower latency Message data ready → first frame: 1.977s → 0.286s · 86% lower latency Channel-open reveal complete: 2.845s → 1.394s · 51% lower latency Channel-open data readiness: 0.770s → 0.944s · 23% higher latency The gain is client-side orchestration/rendering, not a claim that the relay became faster. First channel-list frame ranges were 10.835–11.788s before and 2.872–3.395s after; channel-open first-frame ranges were 1.560–2.906s before and 1.149–1.317s after. ### Measurement boundaries - Debug simulator builds, CPU sampling disabled, bounded timestamp probes enabled identically. These are not release/physical-device measurements. - Startup clock starts at Dart `main`; build/install/native pre-main time is excluded. Auth/preferences and OS/disk caches are retained between new processes. - Same account scale: 113 active channels. Latest-message events varied slightly with live activity (1543–1546). - Channel-open uses the same initial 50-row history window, 97 query events, and 67 provider events. The 2306-entry emoji palette is explicitly loaded before navigation on both sides; palette preparation is excluded from the channel-open clock and happens after the startup frame measurement. - Both diagnostic builds temporarily disabled unused avatar segmentation to work around the existing Google ML Kit arm64-simulator slice limitation. The workaround, dependency/native changes, auto-navigation, and all probes are excluded from this PR. ## Validation - Full mobile package suite: `flutter test` — 1890 passed. - `just mobile-check` — 506 files unchanged; analyzer clean. - `just file-size-check` — policy tests and all client ratchets passed. - `git diff --check` — passed. - New lifecycle regressions cover front-sorting insertion across a chunk boundary while replacement readiness is paused, failure retention/departed-channel filtering, retired generation + disconnect cleanup, disposal, chunk limits, unchanged-set reuse, and scope switches. - Emoji unit/widget coverage includes a 2500-unused-emoji palette, unknown tokens, case matching at the component level, shared-colon boundaries, rich text, event URL priority, and content edits. - Fresh-frame source review traced the subscription queue/fences, callback scopes, duplicate-event paths, matcher/wiring, and retry scheduling. - At committed/pushed head `13a83b628c8411c5885e6f76a250ba87accf6067`, all normal pre-push hooks passed: `mobile-checks` (formatter, analyzer, and the full 1890-test mobile suite), `file-size-check`, `branch-skew`, and `push-head-scope`. The commit hook formatted 506 files with no changes. Runtime measurements preceded only the two documentation-comment fixes; no runtime source changed afterward. ## Limits / follow-ups - `RelaySession.subscribe` still settles under its existing EOSE/fallback/retryable-CLOSED contract. “Setup completed” is not an unconditional EOSE or live-delivery guarantee. This PR does not add status-aware replacement ownership. - The channel-message provider still awaits subscribe before fetching history; that separate serialization is not removed here. - Oversized Huddle queries and the separate history batching path above 128 active channels remain follow-ups, as do pre-existing read-state initialization/size warnings. - Palette-only widget refresh and upstream Markdown uppercase-dispatch behavior are not changed. - A clean source build still has the existing Google ML Kit arm64-simulator issue; the profiling workaround is not a proposed product fix. feat(mobile): require device authentication for identity export (#5116)
**Category:** new-feature **User Impact:** Mobile users must confirm with Face ID, biometrics, or their device passcode before sending their Buzz identity to Desktop. **Problem:** A signed-in phone could send its full identity, including the `nsec`, to a desktop without fresh local verification. **Solution:** Require OS device authentication before opening the identity-recovery scanner, retain that authorization only for the active pairing session and short pairing window, and require fresh authentication again if it expires before the identity payload is sent. Normal app opening, identity import, and community removal remain unchanged. ## Screencasts | Enable Face ID | Use Face ID | | --- | --- | | | | <details> <summary>File changes</summary> **Android and iOS integration** - `mobile/android/app/build.gradle.kts` declares the AppCompat dependency required by the biometric activity theme. - `mobile/android/app/src/main/kotlin/xyz/block/buzz/mobile/MainActivity.kt` uses the activity type required by the system authentication prompt. - `mobile/android/app/src/main/res/values/styles.xml` and `mobile/android/app/src/main/res/values-night/styles.xml` use the compatible launch theme. - `mobile/ios/Podfile.lock` records the native local-authentication dependency. - `mobile/ios/Runner/Info.plist` explains why Buzz requests Face ID access. **Identity policy and pairing flow** - `mobile/lib/shared/security/sensitive_action_authorizer.dart` wraps OS authentication and maps platform errors to stable app-level outcomes. - `mobile/lib/shared/community/community.dart` and `mobile/lib/shared/community/community_storage.dart` persist the sensitive-action policy. - `mobile/lib/features/invites/invite_join_provider.dart` assigns the explicit policy for invite-created communities. - `mobile/lib/features/pairing/pairing_provider.dart` gates export, binds grants to the active community/session, reauthenticates expired grants, and clears grants on every terminal path. - `mobile/lib/features/pairing/pairing_page.dart` lets users choose biometric protection while importing an identity. - `mobile/lib/features/settings/settings_page.dart` wires pairing into settings. - `mobile/lib/features/settings/settings_page/connection_section.dart` authenticates before opening export recovery and bounds the foreground-resume wait. - `mobile/pubspec.yaml` and `mobile/pubspec.lock` add and lock `local_auth`. **Coverage** - `mobile/test/shared/security/sensitive_action_authorizer_test.dart` covers native result mapping, unsupported devices, and single-flight behavior. - `mobile/test/shared/community/community_test.dart` and `mobile/test/shared/community/community_storage_test.dart` cover policy defaults and persistence. - `mobile/test/features/invites/invite_join_provider_test.dart` covers the invite policy. - `mobile/test/features/pairing/pairing_page_test.dart` covers import protection controls. - `mobile/test/features/pairing/pairing_provider_test.dart` covers export/import authorization, stale/reset/concurrent guards, malformed payload cleanup, and no-export failure paths. - `mobile/test/features/settings/connection_section_test.dart` covers the tap gate, lifecycle resume, and timeout behavior. </details> ## Reproduction steps 1. Pair an identity into the mobile app. 2. Open Settings and choose “Send identity to desktop.” 3. Verify Face ID, biometrics, or the device passcode is required before the recovery scanner opens. 4. Cancel device authentication and verify the scanner does not open and no identity transfer begins. 5. Authenticate, scan a Desktop recovery code, confirm the SAS, and verify the identity transfer completes. ## Validation At `be5620f5f10aa6cc16e86a4f01f102f3d9aeef9b`: - `cd mobile && ../bin/flutter analyze` — no issues - `cd mobile && ../bin/flutter test` — 1,368 tests passed - `cd mobile/android && JAVA_HOME=$(/usr/libexec/java_home -v 21) ./gradlew app:assembleDebug` — debug APK assembled successfully --------- Signed-off-by: Taylor Ho <taylorkmho@gmail.com> |

fix(mobile): recover stale relay sessions (#4372)
### Summary Fixes [this issue](buzz://message?channel=e62570dd-33ad-42c5-b92b-75f2689f9694&id=b726c366abfe62429ee3cdcd34d0c0fb98c33c3ea053480585bed71745412b56): > I often don’t see my bot responses until after I post. they’re usually time stamped correctly so I think it’s just a refresh issue? ### What changed? Buzz Mobile now reconnects relay sessions after the app has remained backgrounded beyond the existing 5-second grace period, even when the session still reports a stale `connected` state. This makes resume recovery independent of whether iOS runs the grace timer before or after delivering `resumed`. Reconnection is now based on elapsed background time rather than a direct socket-health probe. - If the app was backgrounded for at least the 5-second grace period, the socket is presumed dead and the session reconnects regardless of reported status. - If it was backgrounded for less than that, a reported `connected` status is still trusted. In the sub-5-second window the socket is either genuinely alive, which is the common case for a momentary background, or it is dead and the client ping detects it within the two-interval worst case described below. That is now a degraded-latency path, not a silent-forever path. The mobile relay socket now uses `IOWebSocketChannel.connect` with a 30-second `pingInterval`. An unanswered ping closes the Dart socket through the existing disconnect and reconnect path. Detection takes up to two ping intervals, so about 60 seconds worst case, not 30. One interval of idleness elapses and a ping is sent, then a second interval elapses with no pong and the socket closes. Any inbound pong restarts the first stage, so the clock measures idleness rather than running on a fixed cadence. ### Why? Buzz iOS can sometimes stop showing new bot or agent responses after a phone has been locked for 5 to 10 minutes. When the user later posts a message, the missing responses can appear all at once. iOS may suspend Buzz before the short delayed cleanup that would normally close its connection has a chance to run. Before this change, Buzz trusted the resulting stale healthy status on resume and skipped reconnecting, so the missing responses stayed hidden until a later post exposed the dead connection. A state-machine test with a stubbed connection reproduced this reported pattern and showed that it matches this failure mode: the failed post triggered a reconnect that fetched the missing messages. The same test also checked the other candidate explanation, the bug tracked in [#3053](https://github.com/block/buzz/pull/3053), where the relay has closed the app's subscription. That state does not produce the pattern. Posting succeeds and the user's own message appears, but nothing looks for the missed messages, so they stay hidden. The test confirmed that the missed messages were still available to fetch in that state, so the missing step was a trigger to fetch them. This was not an end-to-end reproduction on an iOS device or a live relay. The new resume check covers the normal lock and unlock path. If the app was backgrounded for less than the 5-second grace period, it still trusts a connection marked as healthy. A dead connection in that window is instead detected by the ping check, which can take up to about 60 seconds but prevents the app from remaining silently stuck. The ping only runs while iOS is running the app, so it does not detect a connection that died during suspension; the resume check owns the lock and unlock path. A pre-existing path also runs the same resume handling when network connectivity returns while the app is already in the foreground. Because the app was not backgrounded, this change does not alter that path, which still trusts a connection marked as healthy and relies on the slower ping check. Recovery from a subscription that the relay explicitly closes remains in [#3053](https://github.com/block/buzz/pull/3053), and the two changes overlap in one file. Changes to how missed messages are backfilled or replayed are out of scope. ### How is it tested? Full mobile suite at base and head. Both runs have the same known macOS-host-only failure in `ChannelDetailPage keeps follow mode off while a tall newest message stays visible` at line 1053: - Base: 1,021 passed, 1 skipped, 1 failed - Head: 1,025 passed, 1 skipped, 1 failed Added tests: - [`relay_session_test.dart`](https://github.com/block/buzz/tree/main/mobile/test/shared/relay/relay_session_test.dart): long-background resume reconnect and within-grace control - [`relay_socket_liveness_test.dart`](https://github.com/block/buzz/tree/main/mobile/test/shared/relay/relay_socket_liveness_test.dart): silent-peer disconnect and idle-but-healthy control Mutation checks confirm that removing elapsed-background resume recovery fails with one socket instead of two, and removing `pingInterval` leaves the silent peer connected. Restored production code passes both mutations' regression tests and the healthy idle control. feat(mobile): desktop-parity emoji and thread experience (#3485)
Brings the Flutter app's emoji and thread surfaces up to desktop parity. ## Emoji - **Full emoji-mart dataset** generated from the same `@emoji-mart/data` set desktop uses (1,870 emoji, 8 categories), committed as an asset — so shortcodes, names, and keywords are identical across clients. `just mobile-emoji-data` regenerates it. - **Rebuilt the tray**: search (a Dart port of desktop's tiered `emojiSearch` ranking, extended to names and keywords), a frequently-used section, and one continuous scroll with pinned section headers. The category rail is a shortcut into that list, not a page switcher, and spans the full width the search field uses. Custom emoji share the native glyph size and cell. - **Reaction pills** match desktop's geometry, and the count shows at 1. - **Emoji-only messages** render at 36px with 1.45em inline custom emoji, matching desktop's `emojiOnly` treatment. - **Positive-emoji burst** ported from desktop's `EmojiBurstProvider`, suppressed under reduced motion. ## Threads - **Top-down layout** — head first under the app bar, replies flowing down, like desktop's thread panel. The old reversed list bottom-anchored the content and jammed the head against the composer. - **Tap a channel message to open its thread**; long-press still opens the action sheet. - **Live reactions.** The thread's relay query is one-shot and its `kinds` filter carries only content rows, so a reaction event could not reach an open thread at all, and `allMessages` was a snapshot frozen when the route was pushed — a new pill only appeared after leaving and re-entering, which refetched. The live channel events are now unioned into the thread's list. The burst is also route-guarded, since the channel timeline stays mounted underneath and was claiming it first. - The `+` affordance follows the channel: replies stay bare until they carry a reaction, and the head keeps a standing `+`. ## Keyboard A deliberate downward drag past ~48px dismisses the keyboard; short scrolls leave it alone. Applies to the channel list, the thread list, and the compose bar (via a raw `Listener`, so it can't steal the field's tap or selection drags). True finger-tracking dismissal is out of scope — Flutter only offers `manual`/`onDrag`, and 1:1 tracking needs a native `UIScrollView` proxy plus Android's `WindowInsetsAnimationController`. ## Testing `just mobile-check` and `just mobile-test` pass (965 tests). New coverage for emoji search ranking, dataset parsing, the emoji-only predicate, tray scroll/rail behavior, reaction pills and the burst, and both thread fixes above. `just ci` green. --------- Signed-off-by: kenny lopez <klopez4212@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: npub12zsjdqx8dud99s9h47xmk9lq93vryf7zjrae8wdrmma52cg5yglseyulst <50a12680c76f1a52c0b7af8dbb17e02c583227c290fb93b9a3defb456114223f@buzz.block.builderlab.xyz> Signed-off-by: klopez4212 <klopez4212@gmail.com> Co-authored-by: npub12zsjdqx8dud99s9h47xmk9lq93vryf7zjrae8wdrmma52cg5yglseyulst <50a12680c76f1a52c0b7af8dbb17e02c583227c290fb93b9a3defb456114223f@buzz.block.builderlab.xyz> |
