Eva 11eee165f8 Merge origin/main into carl/relay-primary-agent-config

Brings the branch up to date with main at 119a84897 (49 commits),
absorbing among others the desktop typecheck pre-push hook (#5110),
authoritative agent avatar preservation (#4984), and first-join
alerts (#4900). Automatic merge, zero conflicts — main touches
nothing under desktop/src-tauri/src/commands/personas/ that this
branch changed since the previous sync merge (d945edf7).

No rebase, no force-push — history preserved per operator instruction.
