The implicit channel set of a query (get_accessible_channel_ids, the union of the reader's memberships and the open channels) now leaves system channels out of both halves. So REQ, COUNT, NIP-50 search, the HTTP bridge /query and /count, the sidebar projection and the channel list skip them, and an existing client never sees one. A filter that names a system channel (#h, or #d on kinds 39000-39003) can read it under the ordinary rules: the reader is a member, or the channel is open. The addition applies to that filter only, so naming one system channel does not widen a sibling filter. Thread windows and the workflows API name their channel, so they follow the same rule. Push matching and kind:44100/44101 membership notifications skip system channels.
