fix(mobile): split escaped voice-note links into their own segment (#8940)
Follow-up to [#8925](https://github.com/block/buzz/pull/8925), from a [Codex finding](https://github.com/block/buzz/pull/8925#discussion_r4446048706) there. After #8925, message Markdown arrives with backslash escapes shielded, but imeta is keyed by plain URLs. Two lookups used the raw, still-escaped destination: - **Bubble segmentation** (`bubble_segments.dart`): an attachment link such as `[voice.mp4](https://…/voice\_note.mp4)` missed its imeta entry and stayed inside the text bubble, even though the link builder rendered it as an attachment. The fix unshields the URL before the lookup. - **Trailing image gallery** (`extractTrailingImageGallery` in `message_gallery.dart`): with two or more trailing images, an escaped destination kept its backslash, so the carousel loaded the wrong URL and lost the imeta alt text. The fix unescapes the destination the same way as the label beside it. Its callers in `message_media_avatar.dart` and `message_skeleton_body.dart` get the fix too. This gap was already on main. ### Validation - The existing `attachments stay outside bubbles and text order is preserved` journey now uses an escaped destination with a plain imeta URL. The existing carousel journey now has one escaped image destination and taps it by its plain URL. Each fails with its fix reverted. - `flutter analyze` is clean and the full mobile suite passes (4151 tests). - Limitation: no simulator run. Both changes are key lookups, and the widget journeys exercise the rendered layout. The full-app run for the surrounding escape handling is recorded in #8925. 🤖 Generated with [Claude Code](https://claude.com/claude-code) --------- Signed-off-by: Tom Brow <tomb@squareup.com> Co-authored-by: Tom Brow <tomb@squareup.com> Co-authored-by: studio <dc2fc481343672df31a689840c09299972e704dac592e0da6f18486646a7ee3e@buzz.block.builderlab.xyz> Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

fix(mobile): render Markdown backslash escapes (#8925)
Mobile showed Markdown backslash escapes literally. A message linking a channel as `[\#buzz-mobile](buzz://channel/…)` rendered as `\#buzz-mobile`, and `\[text\]` rendered as LaTeX math. gpt_markdown has no backslash escapes. Outside code, each escaped ASCII punctuation character is now held as a stand-in (an invisible word joiner plus the character's fullwidth form) before parsing, so no other syntax (links, emphasis, mentions, channel tokens, math) matches it. A new inline component and the link and image builders restore the original character. The inbox/search preview builder already handled escapes this way; its helpers moved to a shared `markdown_escapes.dart`. Two edge cases found in review are covered: shielding runs after trailing-gallery extraction so carousel URLs and labels stay as authored, and a bare link no longer takes a trailing backslash into its destination. Codex review added: escaped backticks stay literal instead of opening code, authored word joiners are not mistaken for stand-ins, Buzz URL punctuation peeling keeps a trailing backslash, gallery semantic labels drop escapes, the trailing-backslash peel is linear and reruns after delimiter stripping, an escaped `\<url>` is not treated as an autolink, `~~~` fences are skipped like backtick fences, an autolink containing `\` keeps it in both label and destination, and the stand-ins use fullwidth characters so the one gpt_markdown fallback that shows raw text (multi-line strikethrough) still reads right. Later review: fence detection looks back only over blanks and `>` markers, so it stays linear on long lines (security review) and treats an unclosed fence inside a quote or list as code, like the renderer (Carl). Behavior change: `\(x\)` and `\[x\]` now show as `(x)` and `[x]` instead of math, per CommonMark. Desktop (buzz-app) doesn't render math either. `$…$` math is unchanged. ### Validation - Added tests: a `MessageContent` table covering escapes in prose, bold, link labels (HTTP and `buzz://channel`), fenced and inline code (left literal), a bare link ending in `\`, and escaped backticks, authored word joiners and fullwidth characters, a `~~~` fence, a multi-line strikethrough, `<https://example.com/a\>`, a Buzz URL ending in `.\`, an emphasized bare URL ending in `\*`, an escaped `\<url>`, and a trailing image gallery with escaped labels (including its semantics label), in plain and bubble layouts. Each row also asserts no stand-in reaches visible text or semantics. Reverting any one of these fixes fails it. - `flutter analyze` is clean and the full mobile suite passes, except for 11 `notification_toggle_test.dart` tests. Those fail locally on the Studio at the CI-green |

fix(mobile): let slow image downloads finish (#8881)
On a slow link, a large image could never appear. Every image fetch was aborted 30s after it started, even while bytes were still arriving, and a failed fetch then sat on a 30s cooldown before it could be retried. At 240 kbps, anything over about 900 KB could not finish. On a shaped iPhone SE, a 1.45 MB avatar was fetched, aborted at 30s and never shown. - **Abort stalls, not slow downloads.** A fetch is now aborted when no headers or body bytes arrive for 20s, so a dead connection still frees up quickly. A download that keeps making progress can run for up to 5 minutes, so a server that trickles bytes cannot hold a connection forever. The 20 MiB response cap still bounds its size. - **Cancel previews scrolled past in the iOS carousel.** The carousel loads at most four previews at a time, and a preview scrolled past kept its slot until its download ended. With the longer limit, four slow previews could block the visible one for minutes. Now the carousel drops a cancelled preview's pending image-cache entry, and with no one left listening, the image loader aborts its HTTP request. Scrolling back starts a fresh download with no failure cooldown. A download that another consumer, such as the full-screen viewer or a gallery prefetch, is still listening to keeps going, and its finished image is still cached. Closing the carousel aborts its pending previews the same way. - **Cancel gallery prefetches that leave the window.** The message gallery prefetches a few pages around the current one with two workers. Each prefetch used to hold its download until it ended, which also kept the carousel's cancel from aborting it. Now a prefetch that leaves the window, or whose gallery goes away, lets go and aborts the same way. ### Validation Added tests (each fails without its fix): - A body that trickles in for longer than the stall timeout still loads, and one that never ends is aborted at the overall cap. - In the iOS carousel, previews scrolled past abort their stalled downloads (before headers and mid-body), the next preview loads, and scrolling back starts a new download. The test fails if the carousel doesn't evict, if the loader doesn't abort, or if the abort leaves a cooldown. - Closing the carousel aborts its stalled previews. - In a message gallery, jumping to the end and back aborts both in-flight prefetches and moves the workers to the new window. - Abandoning a load another consumer still waits for keeps the finished image cached with no second fetch; abandoning one nobody else waits for aborts it. - Rapid scrolling releases each cancelled carousel load at once, and cancelled loads never reach UIKit. The full mobile suite passes. 🤖 Generated with [Claude Code](https://claude.com/claude-code) --------- Signed-off-by: Tom Brow <tomb@squareup.com> Co-authored-by: Tom Brow <tomb@squareup.com> Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

fix(mobile): only render known channels as #channel chips (#8862)
Follows [#8860](https://github.com/block/buzz/pull/8860) (merged). On mobile, any `#token` rendered as a channel chip, so GitHub-style references like `#8700` turned into inert chips for channels that don't exist. Desktop already avoids this by only linking names in the known channel list. This makes mobile's message body and one-line preview do the same. With no known names (channels still loading, or none visible), nothing becomes a chip. An open channel the reader hasn't joined stays plain text until the directory has loaded; before this change it was an inert, untappable chip. messages rebuild with chips once channel names arrive. Unlike desktop, there's no "any `#token` while empty" fallback, because an empty map can't distinguish loading from an account with no visible channels. The known names come from the existing `channelIdsByNameProvider` (the reader's channels, plus open directory channels once Browse channels or invite recovery has loaded the directory), so there is no new fetch, subscription or sync change. When the list is non-empty, the regex has one alternative fewer than before. ### Validation Added tests: - Preview: `#8700`, `#8774's`, a known-name prefix (`#gen` vs `general`) and `#eng-ios` with only `eng` known stay text, while `#general` and a longer known `#eng-ios` are chips. With no channel names, nothing chips. - Message body: `Took over #8700 from #general` renders one chip (`general`) and keeps `#8700` as text. - Message body: with no channel names, `#unknown` stays text. The new assertions fail with the previous always-generic pattern. The full mobile test suite passed in pre-push. Simulator render on an iPhone 18 Pro (iOS 27): real message-body and preview widgets with channels `general` and `eng` loaded, rendered with both stacked PRs applied. | Before (`main`) | After ([#8860](https://github.com/block/buzz/pull/8860) + [#8862](https://github.com/block/buzz/pull/8862)) | | --- | --- | | <img src="https://raw.githubusercontent.com/block/buzz/5afead6a162d5c8554ad17175fc2dccff93bf2af/pr-8862--01-before-main.png" width="300"> | <img src="https://raw.githubusercontent.com/block/buzz/5afead6a162d5c8554ad17175fc2dccff93bf2af/pr-8862--02-after-both-prs.png" width="300"> | Human app test: not applicable under the mobile-client testing exception; agent review and simulator validation above. buzz-review-completed 🤖 Generated with [Claude Code](https://claude.com/claude-code) --------- Signed-off-by: Tom Brow <tomb@squareup.com> Co-authored-by: Tom Brow <tomb@squareup.com> |

fix(mobile): end #channel tokens at apostrophes, quotes and dashes (#8860)
Mobile renders `#channel` tokens as chips, but a token followed by an apostrophe, quote, ellipsis or dash stayed plain text: `#general's`, `"#general"`, `#general…` and `#general—` all lost their chip because the token only ended at whitespace or `, ; . ! ? : ) ] }`. This ends channel tokens at those characters too (`' " ‘ ’ “ ” » … – —`). The message body and the one-line preview each had their own copy of the channel regex; they now share one `channelTokenPattern`, so they can't drift apart again. `@mention` boundaries are unchanged on purpose: on mobile and desktop the same boundary also decides which mentions are bound and tagged when sending, so changing it is a separate, cross-surface decision. ### Validation Added tests: - Preview table covering each new trailing character (and matching opening quotes). - Message body: `#general's` keeps the chip and renders the `'s` suffix. Both fail with the previous boundary. The full mobile test suite passed in pre-push. Simulator render on an iPhone 18 Pro (iOS 27): real message-body and preview widgets with channels `general` and `eng` loaded, rendered with both stacked PRs applied. | Before (`main`) | After ([#8860](https://github.com/block/buzz/pull/8860) + [#8862](https://github.com/block/buzz/pull/8862)) | | --- | --- | | <img src="https://raw.githubusercontent.com/block/buzz/5afead6a162d5c8554ad17175fc2dccff93bf2af/pr-8862--01-before-main.png" width="300"> | <img src="https://raw.githubusercontent.com/block/buzz/5afead6a162d5c8554ad17175fc2dccff93bf2af/pr-8862--02-after-both-prs.png" width="300"> | Human app test: not applicable under the mobile-client testing exception; agent review and simulator validation above. buzz-review-completed 🤖 Generated with [Claude Code](https://claude.com/claude-code) Signed-off-by: Tom Brow <tomb@squareup.com> Co-authored-by: Tom Brow <tomb@squareup.com> |

perf(mobile): render inbox and search previews as plain text (#8675)
### Summary Inbox rows and search results show each message as a 2-line preview. That preview was a capped `MessageContent`, so gpt_markdown parsed and laid out the whole source (syntax-highlighted code blocks and measured tables included), even though only two lines are painted. A native trace on an iPhone 12 mini attributed a 102 ms inbox-open frame mostly to this work. Previews now skip Markdown entirely. `messagePreviewSource` takes only the leading lines a preview can show, and at most the first 4,000 characters of a single long line, so link normalization, mention binding and emoji lookup never scan the rest of a long message. `messagePreviewPieces` is then a linear pass over those lines, similar to desktop's `getMarkdownPreviewText`. It drops block syntax (headings, quotes, list markers, rules, table dividers, code fences) and unwraps inline emphasis and `<u>`, honoring backslash escapes and keeping inline (including multi-backtick) and fenced code as literal text. It also replaces links with their label. The new `MessagePreview` widget renders the result as a single `Text.rich` with `maxLines` and an ellipsis. Tokens keep the look they have in the thread view: - A bound mention is the same `MessageMentionPill` chip, with the bot icon for agents. An ambiguous mention stays as text. - `#channel` tokens and `buzz://channel/...` links are the same channel token chip. - A `buzz://message`, repo, PR or issue link that shows its own URL previews with the thread view's short label, such as `general · abcdef01`. Both use the shared `buzzLinkLabel` helper. - Custom emoji render as inline images. Only shortcodes the message names are looked up in the palette. - Media links show as "Image", "Video" or "Audio". Chips in previews are not tappable, and tapping the row opens the message. Bold, italic, inline code and link styling are no longer shown in previews. The timeline and thread view are unchanged, and so is the profile status line, which still uses `MessageContent`. This replaces this PR's earlier approach of cutting the Markdown source before parsing. That approach needed delimiter-balance heuristics, and a security review found a real case (`**` inside a link label) where the heuristic misfired. ### Validation - `preview_text_test.dart` is a table test of the parser: block syntax, emphasis that must and must not unwrap (`snake_case`, a lone `*`), inline and fenced code, unpaired backticks, links, tables, the line limit and the long-line cap. It also covers mentions (bound, ambiguous, inside emphasis, link labels and code), custom emoji (including adjacent `🅰️b:`), channel tokens and links, message and repo link labels, and media. The long-line row also asserts that `messagePreviewSource` returns a bounded prefix. - `message_preview_test.dart` checks the widget: no `GptMarkdown`, one capped and ellipsized paragraph, mention chip, custom emoji image, channel chip, media label and empty content. - Existing inbox and search tests updated to find `MessagePreview`, including the agent-chip test in search. - `flutter analyze` and the full mobile test suite pass at |

fix(mobile): keep token labels visible in authored Markdown links (#7545)
## Summary On iOS, an authored Markdown link renders as blank when its label is recognized as a Buzz channel, mention, or custom emoji. For example: ```markdown [#2959](https://example.com/) ``` The surrounding text remains visible, but the link has no visible label or tap target. Buzz's `_ChannelLinkMd`, `_MentionMd`, and `CustomEmojiMd` components return `WidgetSpan`s. `gpt_markdown` also renders an authored link through a `WidgetSpan` and reparses its label through the registered components. Because the Buzz components were allowed to run inside link labels, the result was a placeholder nested inside another placeholder, which does not paint on iOS. This PR adds the same scope restriction used by `gpt_markdown`'s built-in link component: ```dart @override Set<MarkdownScope> get scopes => MarkdownComponent.allScopesExceptLinkLabel; ``` The override is applied to all three widget-based components. Authored labels such as `[#2959](url)`, `[@Alice](url)`, and `[👋](url)` therefore remain ordinary link text, while the same tokens outside links continue rendering as Buzz pills and custom emoji. The PR also updates the shared test helpers to find `RichText` subclasses. Since the upgrade to `gpt_markdown` 1.2.1, body paragraphs can render through `BidiRichText`; `find.byType(RichText)` does not match that subclass and could allow an absence assertion to pass without inspecting the message text. The handling of unknown bare `#tokens` is deliberately unchanged. Whether those should remain non-interactive pills or become plain text is a separate product decision. ### Related issue Fixes #6124. This supersedes #6135. That PR solves the same issue by maintaining a custom fork of `gpt_markdown`'s link component; this PR instead uses the scoped-component API already available in `gpt_markdown` 1.2.1. ### Testing Focused suites: ```bash flutter test \ test/features/channels/message_content_test.dart \ test/features/channels/message_content_custom_emoji_test.dart ``` Result: 95 tests passed, 0 failed. Additional checks: - `just mobile-check` — passed; analyzer reported no issues. - `just mobile-fmt` — passed; 549 files formatted with 0 changes. - Six new regression tests cover channel, mention, emoji, plain-link control, and outside-link behavior. - Removing the `_ChannelLinkMd` override causes two regression tests to fail; removing `_MentionMd` or `CustomEmojiMd` causes one test to fail in each case. - Three tests in `message_content_test.dart` directly assert that the nested-placeholder structure is absent. The custom-emoji tests separately verify literal text and the absence or presence of `CustomEmojiImage`, depending on whether the shortcode is inside or outside a link. The complete local mobile suite reports 15 failures that reproduce identically on a clean checkout of `main` at `44316ff7`. In [CI for that same commit](https://github.com/block/buzz/actions/runs/34238736818), `Clients / Mobile`, `Mobile`, and `Mobile Swift Domain / Mobile Swift` all passed. No native-device screenshot is included. The nested-placeholder fix was verified through the rendered widget structure, but an iOS simulator build was blocked by the existing `MLImage.framework` arm64-simulator incompatibility. Use native UIKit scrolling for iOS photo carousels (#8361)
Builds on the mobile polish merged in #8359; this PR now targets `main`. On iOS, inline photo galleries now use a UIKit collection view for dragging, deceleration, and snapping. Photo taps retain the existing full-screen viewer and reply/more actions; gallery scrolling continues to fade the message avatar. The final photo stops at the full message gutter rather than the smaller gap between photos. Android keeps the current Flutter carousel. Visible cells subscribe to continuing frames from Flutter's existing authenticated image providers, preserving animated GIF/APNG/WebP media. Request IDs fence late frames and cancel subscriptions on reuse/disappearance/disposal. A four-slot bound includes retired unresolved loads until their transport terminates. Shared media fetches now use abortable HTTP requests with a 30-second deadline through response-body completion, so stalled requests release their slots without leaving live transports behind; native eager precaching is disabled so it cannot bypass that bound. Frame conversion coalesces to the newest pending frame. Native cells expose photo labels and positions to VoiceOver, support RTL, and preserve the selected photo during resizing. Validation: - Mobile formatting and analysis passed. - Native simulator regression checks passed for geometry, RTL, snapping, taps, frame replacement, cancellation, and resizing. The native CI lane now runs the carousel executable. - Full mobile suite and pre-push gates passed, including two-frame GIF delivery, delayed-provider bounds/cancellation, real HTTP stalled-header/body recovery with four requests maximum, disposal, and unconfigured-push tests. - Signed iPhone Release build of the frame/subscription implementation passed. Physical iPhone testing covered the earlier carousel/gutter revision; the new animation/cancellation changes have local Flutter and native simulator coverage, not a new physical-device journey. Preview-only signing overrides preserve its bundle/Keychain group; production entitlements are unchanged. Local provisioning excludes production push/App Attest capabilities. - Full `just ci` was started but stopped after unrelated Rust/desktop compilation consumed about 5 GB; broad CI is incomplete. Device build required local Xcode 27 workarounds: iOS 16 deployment target and a generated swift-secp256k1 cache compatibility edit. Neither changes repository source. --------- Signed-off-by: kenny lopez <klopez4212@gmail.com> Co-authored-by: Terp <5856f6900e8e0a4e0ea1f4f8d2ee33e4753d2119bc122f94ecafc660b46c0511@buzz.block.builderlab.xyz> |

Polish mobile bubbles, mentions, galleries, and huddle cards (#8359)
Builds on the merged themes work in #8358 and inherits its appearance and chat-color settings. Polishes mobile conversations with uniform rounded bubbles, desktop-style text-only mentions and agent icon, aligned gallery counts, fading gallery avatars, and standard iOS scrolling. Huddles use rounded cards with attached reaction trays, without duplicate start/end notices; other activity rows stay centered with smaller text. Validation: mobile checks, the full mobile test suite, and the gallery regression test passed. Release build installed on iPhone. Refresh mobile message bubbles, reactions, and activity cards (#8281)
## Summary Refresh mobile conversations with left-aligned grouped bubbles without tails, tighter consecutive-message spacing, distinct sender colors, theme-aware incoming backgrounds, and compact overlapping reaction trays. Attach reply counts beside reactions with up to three participant avatars; keep outgoing mentions and links readable in both themes. Coordinate a 500 ms composer-to-message transition with spring contraction and an anchored avatar. Message ownership follows the signing identity so profile reloads cannot recolor outgoing bubbles. Center channel activities without timestamps or icons, keep names tappable, and show two affected members plus a **See all** sheet. Hide legacy purpose activities, match media corners to bubble groups, and add iOS status-bar scroll-to-top. This is an independent mobile PR; no desktop changes or color picker. ## Validation - Full `just mobile-check` passed; `just mobile-test` passed 3,275 tests with 4 skips, plus 3 unconfigured-gateway checks. - Fixed message-widget lint warnings and a stale notification fixture that blocked analysis. Made the video-controller disposal test wait for lifecycle events instead of fixed delays. Mobile pre-push checks are enabled. - Physical iPhone previews were installed throughout development. The latest bubble, reply-avatar, contrast, and spacing updates were installed and launched on the physical iPhone. Final motion and status-bar behavior still need device visual verification; Android has automated coverage but no physical-device verification. --------- Signed-off-by: kenny lopez <klopez4212@gmail.com> |

Preview Tabler icons in the mobile app (#8109)
## Summary Preview buzz-app's Tabler icon style in the mobile app, replacing app-drawn Lucide glyphs across channels, messages, activity, search, and settings. A shared `BuzzIcons` mapping uses the bundled Tabler 3.46.0 outline font, matching buzz-app's version, with its MIT license and source documented. Native UIKit controls retain SF Symbols. The former 300/500 navigation glyphs use Tabler's standard outline; existing selection colors and labels remain. ### Related issue No matching Tabler mobile migration issue or PR found. Related native iOS controls: #8055. ### Testing - Pre-push mobile analysis, formatting, file-size checks, and the full mobile test suite passed. - 194 focused widget tests passed, including channels, home, search, settings, and message content. - Light and dark community-settings renders inspected. - Signed iPhone Release build succeeded; installed and launched as Buzz Tabler on a physical iPhone. - Full `just ci` attempted; stopped during Rust clippy compilation because the Mac ran low on disk space. feat(mobile): show contextual names in channel conversations (#7895)
🤖 ## Summary In a channel conversation, two identities with the same display name looked identical. In the example below, the channel shows "Bad Janet" twice, for two different identities. A reader cannot tell which one was added and then removed. This PR uses the contextual names from the previous PR everywhere a conversation names someone: - Message authors, threads, forum posts and replies - Reactions, the typing indicator, and system rows (joined, added, removed) - Inline mentions and the agent activity sheet - The profile sheet title, which now matches the row that opened it Names are compared against the channel's members, so a label only gets longer when a real collision exists in that channel. The mention picker labels each choice against every candidate, so two "Honey" choices look different. When you pick one, it still inserts the identity's own name ("@Honey"), so the message text does not change. Part 2 of 3: #7894 (resolver) → #7895 (conversations) → #7896 (lists, Search, Pulse). ### Related issue Related to #2910. ### Testing - A widget test checks that the profile sheet names an author the same way the channel does. - A unit test checks that two same-name mention choices get different labels but insert the same wire name. - `flutter analyze` is clean, and the full `flutter test` suite passes. - Checked on an Android emulator against the live relay, in an archived channel with two identities named "Bad Janet". | Before | After | | --- | --- | | <img width="300" alt="Before: the channel shows two different identities both as Bad Janet" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/c7f6c345-12d8-4e11-9434-bbd2c63722db" /> | <img width="300" alt="After: the second identity shows as Bad Janet · sqxl" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/51c6b9fc-8900-4200-8ce0-ad1887f41dba" /> | --------- Signed-off-by: Logan Johnson <loganj@squareup.com> Co-authored-by: Larry <627498bd4bd1f281a16431e3c6cce3b5c25b6692798c78672298aefbf2f8f8b5@buzz.block.builderlab.xyz> |

perf(mobile): avoid reparsing unchanged Markdown (#7649)
When a channel screen updates, Buzz Mobile can parse and format a message again even when its text has not changed. This repeated work runs on the same thread that handles taps and updates the screen. The current Markdown library, `gpt_markdown` 1.2.1, checks whether the objects used to render mentions, emoji, and channel links have changed. Buzz creates new objects on every message rebuild, so the library parses the message again. This change reuses those objects while their inputs stay the same. Changes to labels, mention targets, emoji, media details, or available actions still update the message. Taps continue to use the latest action handlers. In a synthetic test with the production message widget, ten unchanged rebuilds caused 30 parser calls before this change and zero after it. The first render still requires parsing. This test measures repeated parsing, not overall screen speed. Validation: - All 91 focused message tests and 2,127 mobile tests passed. The new regression test fails with the original code. Tests also cover changed message data and current tap actions. - Static checks across the repository, desktop and Tauri tests, and desktop and web builds passed. The full local test run hit an existing Rust ACP keepalive timing failure. Its exact retry passed, and all checks skipped after that failure were run separately and passed. Add mobile voice notes (#7121)
## Summary - add iOS and Android voice-note recording and preview directly in the mobile composer - add waveform playback, scrubbing, speed controls, haptics, and one-shot playback in chat - package recordings in a canonical H.264/AAC MP4 envelope on both platforms so existing relays accept them - preserve the shared composer interaction and attachment-card treatment across mobile platforms Mobile counterpart to #6978. ## Testing - `just ci` - `just mobile-check` - `just mobile-test` (2,026 tests) - Android debug build compiled, installed, launched, and Voice note verified in the attachment menu on Pixel 10 - signed iOS device build installed on iPhone --------- Signed-off-by: kenny lopez <klopez4212@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Princess Donut <b238ea756dee4d98afa5883fc7f1de61eeabe65bf700e3a5a5a80db5e42e2c2b@buzz.block.builderlab.xyz> Signed-off-by: Kenny Lopez <klopez4212@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Carl <3c4caeafb646d23867f1c4832e68211d77e2561946171625f75c3ce1a3f2670f@buzz.block.builderlab.xyz> Co-authored-by: Princess Donut <b238ea756dee4d98afa5883fc7f1de61eeabe65bf700e3a5a5a80db5e42e2c2b@buzz.block.builderlab.xyz> Co-authored-by: Carl <acda9e433d19dcd0e6b6840f7f4b98f3a56f1fab98049d444c087019e6d36560@buzz.block.builderlab.xyz> Co-authored-by: Carl <3c4caeafb646d23867f1c4832e68211d77e2561946171625f75c3ce1a3f2670f@buzz.block.builderlab.xyz> |

feat(mobile-messages): render compact Buzz permalink chips (#5639)
**Category:** improvement **User Impact:** Buzz channel, message, repository, pull request, and issue links now display recognizable context and navigate reliably in the mobile app. **Problem:** Bare Buzz permalinks appeared as raw or ambiguous URLs on mobile, while channel and message links were not handled consistently across Markdown forms and startup states. **Solution:** Normalize eligible bare Buzz URLs without consuming Markdown syntax, render them as semantic icon-prefixed chips, and route channel/message targets through the mobile deep-link dispatcher while preserving authored Markdown labels as ordinary links. <details> <summary>File changes</summary> **mobile/lib/features/channels/deep_link_dispatcher.dart** Routes parsed channel and message links through the appropriate in-app navigation callbacks. **mobile/lib/features/channels/message_content.dart** Presents all bare Buzz permalinks as semantic icon chips and keeps authored labels as ordinary links. **mobile/lib/features/channels/message_content/link_normalizer.dart** Normalizes bare and autolinked Buzz URLs without consuming Markdown delimiters, code, or punctuation. **mobile/lib/shared/deeplink/deep_link.dart** Adds strict channel and project-entity parsing alongside message deep links. **mobile/lib/shared/deeplink/pending_deep_link_provider.dart** Preserves pending navigation until the mobile routing surface is ready. **mobile/test/features/channels/channel_detail_page_test.dart** Updates navigation integration coverage for icon-prefixed channel chips. **mobile/test/features/channels/deep_link_dispatcher_test.dart** Covers channel/message dispatch and missing-target behavior. **mobile/test/features/channels/message_content/link_normalizer_test.dart** Exercises Markdown-safe normalization across the full Buzz link suite. **mobile/test/features/channels/message_content_test.dart** Verifies chip labels, icons, semantics, authored-label opt-out, and navigation callbacks. **mobile/test/shared/deeplink/deep_link_test.dart** Covers strict parsing for channel, message, repository, pull-request, and issue links. </details> ## Reproduction steps 1. Run the mobile app and open a channel containing bare `buzz://channel`, `buzz://message`, `buzz://repo`, `buzz://pr`, and `buzz://issue` URLs. 2. Confirm each bare URL renders as one cohesive chip with a type icon, a useful name or shortened identifier, and no duplicated channel `#` character. 3. Add an authored Markdown link such as `[design discussion](buzz://issue?...)` and confirm the supplied label remains an ordinary link rather than becoming a chip. 4. Select channel and message links and confirm they navigate correctly from inline and autolinked forms. ## Screenshots / demos **iOS Simulator — channel, message, repository, pull request, and issue permalink chips** Real app build (`37b2cb5eb`) running on an iPhone 17 Pro simulator. --------- Signed-off-by: Taylor Ho <taylorkmho@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Wes <wesbillman@users.noreply.github.com> Co-authored-by: Carl <acda9e433d19dcd0e6b6840f7f4b98f3a56f1fab98049d444c087019e6d36560@buzz.block.builderlab.xyz> Co-authored-by: Wes <wesbillman@users.noreply.github.com> Co-authored-by: Carl <c7ebe626f000404285d3686e1dc74cc07cc60a9754a150041ba132e14bd3e2ec@buzz.block.builderlab.xyz> |

Fix mobile attachment and gallery polish (#3370)
## Summary - align mobile message metadata and enlarge attachment-menu content - smooth keyboard-to-camera/photo transitions and initialize the iOS photo grid at the intended scale - fix horizontal gallery loading, edge overflow, and end spacing ## Why The attachment surfaces were reacting to keyboard and compact-menu geometry during presentation, while gallery clipping and image lifecycle behavior caused misalignment and occasional blank previews. ## Testing - `just mobile-check` - `flutter test` (881 passed, 1 skipped) - native `RunnerTests` (17 passed) - verified standalone Release build on a physical iPhone --------- Signed-off-by: kenny lopez <klopez4212@gmail.com> |
